Software Trainer

Position Filled: June 2010


Position Overview:

The Software Trainer is an important team member of CoreDial and is responsible for rolling out VoiceAxis training to all of our customers. This position will work closely with the sales, provisioning, and software teams, and will coordinate in-person and online training for various user types. The person fulfilling this position must be experienced in translating complex technological concepts into easy-to-understand lessons and tutorials. An energetic personality, desire to learn and help others learn and a passion for innovation are required.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops a thorough understanding of our VoiceAxis software, and it's usage by our customers.
  • Prepare and maintain current product information, training data and training materials, as required, to successfully conduct in-person and online training classes.
  • Determines the most effective approach to meet product learning needs of the audience. Applies instructional design principles and adult learning principles to enhance content delivery.
  • Facilitates instructor-led and WebEx training classes and group learning exercises.
  • Designs and implements metrics to measure training programs and products impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility.
  • Filters and distributes educational resources to customers.
  • Collaborates with all customers and resources to ensure consistency, avoid redundancy, and that needs are met and leverage internal resources thereby ultimately, enhance training programs.
  • Coordinates training schedule - reserves rooms, manages class size, and sends class communication to students.
  • Develops online tutorials using Captivate, Camtasia, wiki, video - or similar online development tools.
  • Maintain professional interaction with end-users while delivering high-quality training services.
Skills
  • Experience with WebEx web seminar tool
  • Experience with Camtasia or similar screencasting software tools
  • Experience with wiki software a plus
  • Experience with Google Enterprise Applications preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office applications, including Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time during in-person training sessions
  • 4-year B.S. or B.A. degree from accredited university or college
  • 3+ years technical training experience
