Chief Executive Officer
Alan Rihm, CEO and founder of CoreDial, brings over 20 years of business strategy and channel experience to his current role. Alan has been instrumental in establishing the company as a leading private label UCaaS provider that empowers more than 800 channel partners to provide cloud communications to more than 23,000 businesses throughout the United States. Under Alan’s leadership, the company has experienced tremendous revenue growth and exceptional customer retention rates. His laser-like focus has built a team that has established CoreDial’s platform, CoreNexa, as the first UCaaS platform for unified communications that transforms the channel from acting as just sales agents to becoming much more of a trusted advisor for their clients. Now, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), and IT Solutions Providers are able to provide their end users with a powerful UC Client, class-leading Contact Center, fully integrated mobile application, and proven administration platform all while realizing industry-leading profit margins under their own brand. Alan has been a successful entrepreneur in the Philadelphia region since 1995, and has a deep background in guiding service providers and software companies to critical mass through profitable growth. In fact, CoreDial was founded after Alan spun off a VoIP division of a 10-year-old Internet Service Provider in July 2005. Alan is a graduate of Drexel University.
Chief Financial Officer
Warren Barratt is CoreDial’s Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for managing the company’s finance, accounting and administrative functions. Warren has over 30 years of finance, accounting and financial reporting, and general management experience. After starting his career in the public accounting industry with Price Waterhouse, Warren has served as Chief Financial Officer for a variety of private and public companies in the technology, life sciences, health care and services industries.
Prior to joining CoreDial, Warren served as Chief Financial Officer for ARXAN, a global leader in application protection solutions across several industries, including financial services, mobile payments, healthcare, automotive, gaming and entertainment. Before ARXAN, Warren was Chief Financial Officer for CyOptics, a leading provider of optical chips and related components enabling bandwidth for high-speed optical networks in the access, enterprise/data center and long haul/metro segments of the telecommunications industry, and for other emerging end-market applications, such as defense and avionics, high-performance computing, medical and security.
Warren has extensive experience raising public and private capital, managing merger and acquisition transactions, and building and optimizing corporate infrastructures. Warren earned a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and a MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
Chief Revenue Officer
Ken is Chief Revenue Officer at CoreDial, responsible for leading marketing and sales as well as partner on-boarding, training, support, and partner success. With a deep background in marketing, sales and service, Ken brings more than 20 years of experience to the position having previously worked for telecom and software companies ranging from start-ups and early stage IPOs to Fortune 500 enterprises.
Prior to joining CoreDial, Ken served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at Tangoe, a $200M+ public SaaS company. There he built a global marketing organization including product marketing, demand generation and marketing communications teams.
Before Tangoe, he was Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Service at Rivermine, a telecom expense management company that specializes in managing voice, data and wireless telecom expenses. In this role, Ken led global sales efforts, leading to its lucrative acquisition by Emptoris and subsequently by IBM where Ken served as General Manager and SVP of Global Sales.
Ken started his career at Andersen Consulting and held various roles at Architel Systems Corporation, Step 9 Software, Broadmargin and Control Point Solutions. Ken holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from West Virginia University.
Chief Technology Officer
Don serves as CoreDial’s Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for overseeing key technical aspects of the company, including software development, quality assurance, infrastructure and IT operations. Don focuses on inspiring and leading team members, helping to attract and retain top talent, and implementing scalable and repeatable best practice technologies and procedures.
Don is an award-winning, experienced technology leader who helped build many of the Philadelphia region’s high-tech successes. Don was honored with the 2016 Philadelphia Tech Disruptor Award and the first-annual Timmy Award for 2016 Best Technology Manager in Philadelphia, both awarded by Philadelphia Business Journal. Prior to CoreDial, Don served as CTO of PeopleLinx, Chief Architect at GSI Commerce (now Radial), Director of Development and Quality Assurance at Procurian (now Accenture), and CIO at Neat. Don earned a BSE in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
VP of Infrastructure and Customer Operations
Chris is responsible for CoreDial’s compute, storage, connectivity, and underlying-infrastructure platforms. In addition, Chris is focused on providing the team with a reliable, scalable, transparent infrastructure that enables product deliverables while ensuring availability and performance. Before Chris joined CoreDial in January 2015, he served as VP of Core Receivables and Payments Development at Citi. Chris has also held senior leadership positions in development and infrastructure at Dow Jones. Chris received his bachelor’s degree in Applied Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
VP of Channel Sales
Jim is responsible for managing CoreDial’s Channel Sales Organization. Jim honed his technology skills early in his career, working for industry stalwarts NCR and British Telecom, before moving to a series of early-stage tech innovators — where Jim was responsible for building a sales organization in Philadelphia (and later the Southeast) for MFS Datanet, before being promoted to Vice President of Sales for MFS’ Internet Division. More recently in his career, Jim was the VP of Sales & Marketing for both Three Pillars, an innovator of Managed Security Services, and ESS Secure, an integrator of cyber and physical security products and services. Jim holds a BS in Management Information Science (MIS) and a BS in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and received his MBA from LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
VP of Architecture and API
Ryan Hope serves as CoreDial’s VP of Architecture and API. In this capacity, Ryan guides the organization towards increasingly more robust and scalable APIs for both external and internal use. He also propels the organization towards continuous software delivery best practices and cloud operational excellence.
Ryan brings more than 20 years of software development and operations experience to his position, in companies ranging in size from 15 to 450,000 employees. Before joining CoreDial, Ryan held the position of VP of Research and Development at Fiberlink Communications Corporation, which was acquired by IBM in 2013 and is now known as IBM MaaS360. He was instrumental in Fiberlink’s transformation from a secure connection manager client to the premier SaaS platform for Mobile Device Management. He was initially well known as the wireless domain expert when on the Extend360 product line. His expertise and experience, gained through numerous interactions with large and medium sized companies, helped him play an important role in re-architecting the platform, one key component of which is the CloudExtender. This technology has enabled Fiberlink to build a simple, easy to deploy, and configurable solution that can interact with the most complex of corporate systems and traverse through their network to talk to the MaaS360 Cloud platform. The CloudExtender is a patented piece of technology which differentiates Fiberlink in a competitive industry.
Over the years, Ryan has also served as one of the operational efficiency champions for the MaaS360 platform. He has researched, developed, influenced, and helped the organization adopt various tools and automation processes, allowing Fiberlink to continuously elevate new production code in an efficient and elegant fashion. He has been a leader in Fiberlink’s organizational strategy of global balance, with extensive experience running both onshore and offshore teams.
Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Lehigh University and a masters degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
VP of Software Development
Alex serves as Vice President of Software Development at CoreDial. Alex is responsible for scaling the software development organization and expanding the existing world class team. He joined CoreDial in Q2 of 2015. Alex brings almost two decades of experience in building enterprise level software solutions. Prior to joining CoreDial, Alex built and led the software development department at Dyn consisting of both onshore and offshore teams. His prior experience includes 13 years of service with Comcast, where Alex contributed to a number of key efforts including the launch of High Speed Data Network, Business Class, XfinityConnect, IPv6, XfinityWifi, and XfinityHome products. Alex earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Drexel University.
VP of Business Development
Patrick (“Pat”) is Vice President of Business Development at CoreDial. Pat joined CoreDial in early 2009. Prior to Joining CoreDial, Pat served as National Sales Director for IP Telephony and Contact Center Solutions (CCS) for Verizon Business. In that capacity, he led a national team of sales specialists focused in these specific disciplines. Prior to Verizon, Pat held several sales leadership positions with Ameritech/SBC/ATT since 1994. In his last role there, he led the direct, indirect and telephone account management sales efforts for the out of franchise territories east of the Mississippi as the Regional Vice President. Pat also leads the Datacenter outsourcing and application hosting sales teams at SunGard eSourcing as the VP of Sales. Pat holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Rutgers University and an MBA in International Business from Kent State University.
VP of Operations
Jennifer Nading joined CoreDial as Vice President of Operations in June 2017. She is responsible for creating scalable cross-team systems, processes and procedures that drive company initiatives. She is a proven strategic leader with a 20-year history at fast-growing telecommunications businesses and contact centers.
Prior to CoreDial, Jennifer was Vice President of Operations at Synergixx, a full-service media and marketing firm she helped found and grow to inclusion on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in 2016. Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Buena Vista University.
VP of Partner Success
Colleen Schmidt is VP of Partner Success and is responsible for managing all aspects of CoreDial’s customer service, support, porting, and provisioning business needs. Since joining CoreDial in 2011, Colleen has been instrumental in implementing critical systems and processes that have resulted in measurable improvements to key performance metrics as well as employee and departmental performance. Colleen’s efforts have also resulted in a marked increase in customer satisfaction ratings. Colleen brings to CoreDial 20 years of excellence in the fields of project and operations management, directing the activities of Operations, Client Services, and Support teams with such companies as Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing and Triangle Burlington Management Company. Colleen studied at Drexel University and received a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University.
